Swedbank’s building “Saules Akmens”

This Swedbank building is extremely popular among photographers — and not only them. It has become such a well-loved spot that photo sessions for newlyweds have practically turned into a tradition here.

For a while now, I’ve been thinking about how to photograph this building in a different, more unique way, but no interesting ideas came to mind. Then one day, while walking past it, a very specific angle suddenly popped into my head — I knew exactly what I wanted the shot to look like. Only this evening did I finally find the time to capture that idea.

After posting the photo here, I decided to check whether anyone else had taken a similar shot from the same perspective. Turns out, I managed to find only one image taken from roughly the same spot.
