Finally, I got my hands on a PRO camera (Canon EOS 5D) and a fantastic lens (Canon 70-200mm f/2.8). Despite the cloudy weather, I couldn’t resist going out to take some photos. Riga was quiet today, with few people around, but I still managed to capture some shots worth sharing.

For the featured image, I chose a shot of a tunnel. With my old 50D, it would have been impossible to handhold a photo like this. But with the 5D, I could capture a bright, beautiful image with ease. When I saw the photo on the camera’s screen, I was pleasantly surprised — usually, in such dark places, you need a tripod and a very long shutter speed.
